Terms & Conditions
The owner understands that Auckland Kennel and Cattery operates a communal, interactive/play exercise environment and accepts the positive benefits and potential risks involved and will not hold Auckland Kennel and Cattery liable for damages, losses and costs outside their control.
All pets are to have current and valid vaccinations. Failure to provide proof of these gives AKC the right to refuse boarding.
You acknowledge and agree that during your dogs term of boarding, there is a risk of your dog contracting Canine cough (kennel cough). This occurs in the most hygienic and well-ventilated kennels. Canine cough can be contracted at dog parks, dog shows, groomers and vets. A canine cough vaccine does not cover every strain of kennel cough, as does the flu vaccine in humans. We accept no liability for your dog contracting kennel cough during its stay.
Dogs are to be vaccinated with DHP, Leptogaurd and the Canine Cough vaccine in the last year and to cover during the length of stay.
Cats are to be inoculated against Feline Flu annually and to cover the length of stay.
Pet Health and Medication
Owners accept the responsibility to disclose all relevant information on the Pet Registration Form with regard to behavioural issues, aggression, allergies, injuries, sexual state or any other relevant issues. Auckland Kennels reserve the right to refuse a pet with an issue they believe may compromise their ability to care for the pet.
Whilst we take every possible precaution to ensure your pet’s health and safety, should we deem it necessary to seek vet attention, the owner is liable for all costs incurred and to be paid on collection.
All pets are to be de-wormed and flea treated. If we deem it necessary to administer any of these, it is at the owner’s expense. All medications are to be clearly marked and have clear instructions regards dosages. There is a $3 pd surcharge for administering medication.
All bedding/belongings are to be clearly marked and food portions are to have clear instructions on them. We will endeavour to keep these in as best possible condition, but all items are left at the pet owners risk.
